2022 OSLC Women’s Retreat
Friday, March 4 – Sunday, March 6, 2022
at the Rainbow Lodge in North Bend
“All Joy reminds. It is never a possession, always a desire for something longer ago or further away or still ‘about to be’.”
~ C.S. Lewis
People of faith, in our best moments, trust that though transitions can be unexpected and unsettling, times of change can be gently welcomed as gifts to guide us, form us, and make us more whole. You are invited to join us, where we will look to the lives of others (in the Bible and in our spiritual sisters gathered) as guides on our journeys – journeys in the church and in the world.
We originally planned this retreat for 2020, but it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Assuming that we can resume more normal lives by 2022, we will be having this retreat from March 4-6, at the Rainbow Lodge in North Bend. Our theme will be “Finding Joy in Transition in the Church and in the World”, and our speaker will be Pastor Cara Tanis, the pastor, spiritual director and life coach in the worship community of Emmaus Table in the Green Lake neighborhood. There will be lots of fellowship, feasting, and fun!
The registration period has not yet opened. If you have any questions, please contact Joan Friel ASAP via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org, or via phone call/text msg. at 425-941-2925.
